At East Kent Hospitals we aim to do everything we can to make your outpatient visit as easy and stress free as possible. We will endeavour to provide you with a choice of appointments that are convenient for you. However, it is important to remember that we have hospitals across East Kent and some appointments are only held at a particular hospital and you may have to travel to that site.

DrDoctor alerts patients to new appointments, and allows them to reschedule or cancel, where necessary, on their smartphone. Patients will also be able to access appointment letters on their smartphone. The system is intended to improve the patient experience, but will also reduce non-attendances, cut unnecessary calls, and better use staff time.
